Aldelia has established a presence in Chad since 2019. It is the fifth largest country on the continent and is a landlocked country in North and Central Africa with a population of 17.7 million. Agriculture is the main source of livelihood for most of the population although Chad became an oil-producing country in 2003.
The country has more than 100 different languages and dialects. In addition to this rich assortment, Arabic and French are the official languages of the country. Most of the cotton fiber ginned in Chad's processing plants is exported to Europe and the United States. With a GDP of 2.2% (2022) and a labor force participation of 60% according to the World Bank, the country’s growth is driven mainly by exports and, to a lesser extent, household consumption.
